How parents can become more involved:

We encourage parents to become more active in the Troop. If you are interested in becoming more involved, please feel free to contact Dave Rose, Aaron Jones, or Erin Hendges to find out how you can help. Here are some resources:

Register as an adult member and take your Youth Protection Training which is available online at My.Scouting.org.

To be a merit badge counselor, please refer to the following:

  • Merit Badge Counselor Training is available online at My.Scouting.org.
  • Merit Badge Counselor Application: 34405.pdf (scouting.org)

To become an adult leader, consider taking the Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) which is required for signing off on rank advancements.

Questions:

If a scout or parent has any questions or concerns, they can always schedule time with the scoutmaster to discuss. We want all our scouts to succeed.
